ABOUT TOMMY

Who is Tommy?

Born in Rockville, MD, the Boyds native took his talents to High Point, North Carolina where he graduated with honors from High Point University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in the Criminal Justice field of study. He is now focused on his goal of earning his M.A. in Communication and Business Leadership from his alma mater.

Apart from his studies, Tommy is a Graduate Assistant with an administrative office at HPU and an Assistant Coach for the Nationally Top Ranked HPU Men's Club Lacrosse program. While within the teams administration as a player from 2019-2023, Tommy served as the first Team President and turned the program from a losing program, to one of the winningest teams in HPU history in just 2.5 years. For his tireless work within the program, he was made the first Leadership Player-Of-The-Year in team history. As of May 2023, Tommy has been named an assistant coach with the team. He hopes to continue the program's innovation that have taken place over the past few years

Tommy is a highly energetic criminal justice major with a passion for sports administration, who has developed a unique set of skills to excel both academically and professionally. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Communication and Business Leadership, with a great deal of confidence in his ability to make a significant impact and add to the overall organizational culture. A critical thinker with strong coaching and mentoring abilities. Emerging higher education professional with leadership skills combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills that have served as a vital component in my quest to pursue a successful career in the sporting industry.
